No. 2 Dry and Alipic Skin

Naturally thin and fragile, this skin type is the result of underactive sebaceous glands and is characterized by deficient hydro-lipid film. This lowers its defences, making it more exposed to the aggressive and drying action of external agents like cold, wind, and temperature changes, as well as susceptible to lines and early wrinkling.

Moisturizing however does not mean ‘wetting the skin’, which is waterproof and does not absorb water; treating dry skin entails restoring and maintaining regular moisture in the outer layer, strengthening the hydro-lipid film to improve the skin’s ability to retain moisture.

This type of skin needs active ingredients that work towards reintroducing water and fatty acids.

The key ingredients:

Aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis),

Marigold (Calendula officinalis) flowers for a synergistic emollient and rebalancing action. 

Vitamins A, B5, C and E - vital nourishment for physiological skin renewal process.

Essential amino acids and mineral salts (Ca, Mg) to recreate the skin’s natural protection, allowing the proper moisture level to be established and maintained all day long in all environmental conditions.

UV Filters to prevent sun damage, the cause of premature skin ageing.

Passion flower oil (Passiflora incarnata),

Avocado oil (Persea gratissima),

Rose Hip Seed oil (Rosa moschata),

Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii),

Illipe butter (Shorea stenoptera),

Moisturising Cleansing Milk

 

Dry skin is fragile and needs to be treated gently. The appropriate cleansing milk must then be rich in nourishing oils to cleanse deeply without harshness. Moisturizing Cleansing Milk removes dead cells, smog, dust and oxidized lipids; your skin will then breathe freely and be ready to receive the appropriate nourishing treatment.

Use: Dispense a small amount on a cotton ball or directly on your skin, and spread gently over face and neck; do not overlook the hairline and temples, where makeup tends to build up. Leave in for a few minutes, then rinse with warm water. Follow with Moisturizing Toning Water to refresh your skin.

Moisturising Toning Water

This toner completes the action of Moisturizing Cleansing Milk and restores tone and brightness.

The Aloe vera and Marigold extracts help maintain the appropriate moisture level.

Use: Morning and night, after cleansing with Moisturizing Cleansing Milk, dispense some Moisturizing Toning Water on a cotton ball and carefully dab over face and neck, without rubbing.

It can be used during the day to freshen and soothe red or hot skin.

Restorative Nourishing Cream for Face and Neck

Its innovative formula and the pleasant texture make for the ideal product to protect, energize and get your skin glowing, ensuring its well-being. Contains emollient, moisturizing Aloe vera and Marigold, a synergistic amino-acid complex, vitamins, minerals and nourishing, emollient vegetable oils and butters, rich in fatty acids, to restore lipid levels and prevent excess moisture loss.

The driest skin will benefit from the rich texture day or night, to efface the signs of fatigue, stimulate the skin’s recovery potential, moisturize, and revitalize. Wrinkles, sagging and other ageing signs can be kept in check, and your skin will stay young night after night.

Use: Suitable for very dry skin, the cream should be applied with a simple, gentle massage on cleansed skin, using circular, tapping motions from the neck up towards the face, cheeks and temples. The massage will help the cream improve microcirculation and absorption of the active ingredients, stimulating skin functions.

The combination of vitamins A, B5, C and E, vital elements for skin defence, makes it especially suitable for revitalizing tired, dull skin. Its fast, powerful action will leave your skin glowing and extraordinarily smooth.

Use: Apply generously over cleansed face; leave in for about ten minutes to allow the active ingredients to penetrate deeply. Remove with lukewarm water and a soft sponge.
